For those of you who missed Loretta Tryon Design's Jewelry Open House on April 29th, you surely missed a great event. This event was held in her lovely home in Coopersburg. Her jewelry designs are absolutely unique, modern and there truly is something for "everyone". Loretta takes the time to talk with her clients and she gives special attention to detail and what "you" as a customer are looking for in a tastefully crafted piece of jewelry.

Please visit her website: for more information and a profile on the artist. Her email account is listed, if you would like to inquire about becoming a part of her customer list to receive emails about upcoming events.  Stephen and I recently visited "Artfully Elegant" on Main Street in downtown Bethlehem to view additonal pieces of her designs. It is quite difficult to walk away without purchasing one of her beautiful designs!

Thanks, Loretta, for having us into your home and sharing your talent and passion with us! You are not only my dear friend, but you are as beautiful as your skillfully crafted designs - one of a kind!

If you are looking for an authentic European coffee and pastry, you must visit Mona at her lovely Parisian cafe, "Cafe de Paris", located at 450 Rt. 519 in Stewartsville, NJ.  You will feel like you are entering a cafe in Paris the minute you walk in the door. Her decor is perfect and the pastries are a true delight to see! Close your eyes as you sip your "cafe", listen to the French music playing in the background....and "Voila!" are transported to Paris! (no plane ticket required).

You can expect to receive a warm "hello" from Mona upon entering her cafe. She has brought to our Lehigh Valley area a European experience we have surely been needing for quite a long time.  Please check out her website: for a list of her specialties including various coffees and pastries as well as her hours and special occasions.

Trust won't be going back to those "other" cafes once you visit "Cafe de Paris".

Tallarico's Chocolates....For Your Sweet Tooth

Stephen and I first met Brian Tallarico this past March at a fundraiser for Wilson Area High School's "World Traveler's Club" to raise money for a European trip they were taking this spring. We were two of a few dessert vendors and our tables happened to be positioned near one another. His chocolate display was very eye appealing....beautiful chocolates displayed neatly stacked as well as packaged in martini glasses - a unique way to present a sweet gift to family or friends. Of course we had to try "just one".....melt in your mouth, smooth pure decadence! Brian uses the finest chocolate for his confections and the combinations you can find range from traditional to the-hard-to-find.

With the weather getting nicer and more spring-like, take a day and walk through the southside of Bethlehem and make a point to stop into Tallarico's Chocolates. You are sure to get a sample!  Brian's website is and he is located at 26 E. 3rd Street in Bethlehem, PA.
